Xerox DocuTech 180

The Xerox DocuTech 180 is in Xerox’s series of powerful DocuTech Highlight Color Systems. It incorporates a combination of advanced SmartPress technology, duple imaging systems, and first-class efficiency. An amazing print speed of 180 ppm makes the Xerox 180 the fastest cut-sheet highlight colour (HLC) printer in the DocuTech series. Suited for a variety of print applications including booklets, reports, flyers, newsletters, statements and invoices, the DocuTech 180 is compatible with FreeFlow digital workflow solutions and effortlessly fits into just about any workflow.

The DocuTech 180 achieves brilliant image quality by printing and highlighting at resolutions of 600 x 600 (color) and 600 x 2400 (monochrome). It is concurrent to RIP and supports a variety of data streams and substrates. The DT 180 offers two configurations: a high volume stacking and feeding option, and a potent binding and stitching option with interposer. This color digital printer can achieve both duplex and simplex printing. You are free to choose the highlight color toner of your liking – royal blue, blue, green or red.

The DT 180 is of modular architecture and can print on a wide variety of media (DocuCards, label stocks, transparencies and tab stocks), sized between 7" x 10" and 14" x 17." This machine utilizes a Xerographic print engine with Light Emitting Diode for color and laser raster imaging system for monochrome. The single pass printing feature enables simplex and duplex printing of both monochrome and color documents in a single pass without degrading the DT 180’s rated speed of 180 ppm. For distributed scanning, you can provide your DocuTech 180 with the optional FreeFlow Scanner 665.
